Another Cup of WTF!

I have no doubt that everyone has already seen Trump’s disgusting post about the murders of Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle.

The only thing that I could come up with in response is that no one should be shocked or surprised that the sitting President would take this tragedy as an opportunity to spew hate and make it all about himself. A total (and expected) dickhead move.

What pisses me off even more is seeing some of the lame ass and late to the party responses from Republicans and Trump supporters. On my social media feed I’m seeing extremely strong responses like “inappropriate” and “disrespectful” being tossed about by these idiots. Golly gee whiz, Mr. President, that wasn’t very nice. It’s as if they didn’t realize that the leaser of their party was capable of this behavior. WTF? These dickheads own this. He’s been attacking and insulting people in this manner for years and they didn’t give a wet fart about it. This situation is obviously a little different in their eyes. Rob Reiner was certainly far left politically, but professionally he made them smile and laugh and entertained us all for decades. On top of that, he just seemed like a decent and fun person. The funny uncle that everyone enjoyed and wanted a hug from. This wasn’t Trump calling someone his supporters didn’t have a connection to fat or stupid or piggy. This was Trump attacking a person that we all had a fond and personal connection to.

Wake up enablers. This callous and cringey behavior isn’t new.

This cartoon came about very quickly and I actually had the message figured out before the image. I only wanted to say that no one should be shocked by this shocking post.

The image took some pondering. At first I thought maybe Uncle Sam or just a random individual might be speaking the message after reading Trump’s post on their phone.

I then thought about Rob Reiner and I decided that an empty directors chair would be much more appropriate and respectful. The cartoon evolved from taking issue with Trump’s post to also being a way to honor the memory of Rob Reiner. The cartoon became 10 times better with this simple adjustment.
